PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
As part of SAP’s IT Services organization, Enterprise Data Technology (EDT) is responsible for providing consultancy & technology expertise in the areas of data management mastering data migration, integration, quality management and data privacy projects in SAP’s hybrid system landscape. Here we act as the Business’ trusted advisor and expert, driving together the simplification of business processes based on a user-centric approach. In a joint responsibility with the respective business teams, we identify strategic priorities, determine the portfolio and corresponding execution plans. We are hiring an IT Technology Consultant joining the newly founded Data Protection & Privacy team, who will act as go to person and cross organizational technical expert for the implementation of solutions within SAP IT addressing the various DPP requirements, such as retention management, data subject right request processing, and consent management, esp. with focus on SAP Customer Data Cloud.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
In this role we see the following main responsibilities and tasks: - Supporting and driving the implementation activities in the various workstreams and sub-projects addressing DPP topics within SAP IT from solution design to go-live - Support implementation of SAP Customer Data Cloud (formerly known as Gigya) in the context of data privacy and protection. - Serve as a technical expert on the CDC API & UI artifacts integrating consumer applications - Connecting, collaborating & communicating closely with all affected units and different LoBs (in SAP IT and beyond) - Working in an agile and international development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven, take decisions independently and be flexible
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- At least 3 years professional work experience with SAP CDC that can be used to address DPP requirements, particularly in the area of consent management
- At least 5 years work experience in Consulting or Information Technology
