To ensure all sub-processors meet protection and security requirements for personal data, SAP implemented the sub-processor verification process.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
As Audit Associate in the Data Protection Operations team, you will act as a single point of contact and trusted advisor for business specific Data Protection & Privacy topics. Your primary tasks will include:
Creation of the annual audit program and the cooperation with other stakeholders
Coordination and execution of sub-processor audits (onsite/remote) according to the annual audit plan
Monitoring of audit findings as well as escalation to management, as appropriate
Alignment with other business units for continuous improvement of the overall vendor control framework
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Required:

Successfully completed degree in business administration, business information or adjacent disciplines (university or university of applied sciences)
Comprehensive knowledge in Data Protection & Privacy and as well as audit experience
Willingness and ability to work and learn in a governance position to support the fulfillment of corporate requirements
Very good and quick comprehension capability as well as the ability to understand complex issues quickly
High quality awareness and process-oriented thinking and acting
Motivation to work both as an individual and collaboratively in teams
Excellent communication competence
Very good language skills in English are essential to work in virtual and international teams

Preferred:

German language skills        

WORK EXPERIENCE

2-5 years professional experience in a relevant area
International experience would be an asset for collaboration with multi-national teams
Experience in Data Protection & Privacy and/or audit is a plus
